    Things we like

    Dane’s Passport Photos
Umm… hey mate. I’m pretty sure we’re too late with this, but it seems you didn’t take your passport photos with you. Hope Amsterdam is going great. We’re busy making up stories about how you got through customs without a photo in your passport, maybe you offered the dude a bag of really crunchy organic potato chips or some other delightfully disarming culinary wonder?

    Faxhibition – The Zine
So after the success of the Faxhibition there is now the zine of the same name. Limited numbers of this little guy put together by designer James Kape are available. We have ten of them. If you would like one (they’re $10.00) click here. We’ll sort it out.

    Slide – Barwon Heads
Thanks to the kid who lives just outside Burnie in Tasmania and has to fly home to clear up a court case for the free tickets on the greatest inflatable clown slide that I’ve seen in a while.

The Eighties Are Back – Powerhouse Museum
We’ve submitted some of the original artwork, collage and miscellaneous bits that went into the creation of the Cut Copy first album Bright Like Neon Love to the Powerhouse Museum for what should be a really amazing and fun show. The title says it all really. We look forward to the trip back in time.

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road – Screenprinting
Many thanks to the generous staff at Brighton Bay for the opportunity (and the assistance) to do some screenprinting for the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road exhibition. We had a great time and there’s one (yes only one) great print as a result. There’s a few decent proofs too… but that’s another story. Yes, we will be dropping a proof back for you guys at Brighton Bay soon. Hope to see some familiar faces at the show.

By the way, the piece is called ‘Do Androids Dream?’. It’s a love song.

    Positive Posters – Competition

PP is an international poster design competition for graphic design students, professionals and illustrators that aims to connect design and community. Melbourne will be covered top to toe with the winning poster in Feb 2010 following a huge exhibition night at Rooftop Bar, 11th November 2009. This bi-annual competition will spark a movement that will bridge borders and promote positive thought in places that need it most. Check it out here.
