    Cut Copy – Where I’m Going 7″
Free download! This is exciting, a new Cut Copy single you can download for free here. We’ve just done the 7″ cover and the B side etching. Will post an image when it’s ready, but in the meantime have a listen.

    Designer Disco
This one sounds good. Great lineup too. Haven’t got all the details yet, but  there’s a nice visual aspect planned.

    Faxhibition – The Zine
So after the success of the Faxhibition there is now the zine of the same name. Limited numbers of this little guy put together by designer James Kape are available. We have ten of them. If you would like one (they’re $10.00) click here. We’ll sort it out.

AG Ideas – Studio Access 2010
So it worked out a little differently, but much the same as, last year. Lots of students turned up, ate 15 or so pizzas (thanks to Pete at Lucky Coq) and drank everything in sight. Hopefully everyone had a good and somewhat informative night. Hopefully we answered most of the many questions fielded with some degree of clarity, if not feel free to email us. It was lovely to have Chris and Lachlan from KROZM around to discuss their recent work and play table tennis. Dion and Rick chatted to just about everyone individually. I think I met everyone except for a few of the extras who dropped in. Thanks to everyone for coming. We finished up at about 11.30pm after Dane’s mum arrived to pick him up and tell us a few stories. Things were getting a bit blurry by then (such a big day) so I’m not quite sure I have all the facts straight. Might have to ask Dane.

    Pretty Dog – Opening
Wow! So the new store (and brand, well it’s almost finished anyway) is here. This invitation takes us way back. Think typography books with plenty ZIP and POW action. Brody et al. Now you’re getting it.

    faxhibition

    Faxhibition – China Heights Gallery
    Self explanatory really
. An exhibition by fax. Or of fax. Anyway, we’re contributing or faxing something yet to be decided but possibly quite large and maybe involving a hair dryer. There are plenty of artists involved and it looks to be fun. Check out the opening on Friday April 30 at 6.30pm.

The Eighties Are Back – Powerhouse Museum
We’ve submitted some of the original artwork, collage and miscellaneous bits that went into the creation of the Cut Copy first album Bright Like Neon Love to the Powerhouse Museum for what should be a really amazing and fun show. The title says it all really. We look forward to the trip back in time.

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road – Screenprinting
Many thanks to the generous staff at Brighton Bay for the opportunity (and the assistance) to do some screenprinting for the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road exhibition. We had a great time and there’s one (yes only one) great print as a result. There’s a few decent proofs too… but that’s another story. Yes, we will be dropping a proof back for you guys at Brighton Bay soon. Hope to see some familiar faces at the show.

By the way, the piece is called ‘Do Androids Dream?’. It’s a love song.

    Bikes Rock

    Bicycle Film Festival – Poster
Let he who frowns upon the Bicycle Film Festival suffer that loss of potential momentary bliss. It has films and bicycles. What could be better than that (I’m serious)? Hey, wait a second Alter, it’s so much more than that! This poster is proof.
