Shokupan is the most fun that bread can have. It's delightfully soft and hilariously good.
Combine Shokupan with the incredible vernacular of everyday Japanese product design and we can't imagine a more enjoyable opportunity to explore collections of photography and kawaii gathered from the streets of Tokyo and beyond.
Tasked with naming and packaging, we were never going to pass up the simple and iconic 'shokupan.au'. The pillowy forms of GrilliType's GT Maru are a perfect expression of the word and combine gloriously with a gorgeous 'Bread Chef' character who slots into this vernacular with so much enthusiasm it almost hurts.
Our Shokupan package is a custom window-faced recyclable bag that is sits somewhere between humorous Japanese supermarket packaging and a more elegant bakery take-away.
